It can be simple to forget that your smartphone is equally as much of some type of computer at the PC sitting on the desk. And such as all computers, things sometimes fail. Files get harmful. Apps that worked fine this morning decide to rubbish out. If an app on the Android phone features suddenly stopped operating correctly and relaunching this app didn’t guide, clearing the app caches may get things working correctly again.
To start out, pop open your current phone’s Settings app. Scroll down and tap Apps within theDevice heading. From there, find the app that’s experiencing problems—you might need to swipe left or directly to either the Delivered electronically, Running, or All sections—and tap on there.
Once you make it happen, you’ll be delivered to an “app info” screen that provides some technical details like the app’s version number and just how much storage space that eats up. Scroll into the Cache portion, then tap Clear cache.
Finally, go back to the homescreen and try launching this problematic app and pay attention to if that solved the problem. If not, you might want to go back to the app info screen and hit the two Clear data and Clear cache switches. Your final resort is usually to uninstall the app completely, and re-download that.
